Elana works with children, adolescents, and adults while offering the utmost kindness and acceptance. She takes a collaborative stance and integrates elements primarily from Rogerian, Cognitive Behavioral, and Bowenian Therapy frameworks. Whether it’s managing unwanted feelings of distress or developing positive relationship skills, Elana is committed to meeting the specific needs of each client. Depression, anxiety, AD/HD, anger, grief, & trauma are some issues that Elana has helped individuals and families overcome. Her special background providing behavioral coaching in-home involved teaching youth impulse-control and social skills while helping parents to establish effective structure. Elana also works with couples (using EFT and TBCT) to enhance communication and intimacy.
