Dr.  Jennifer Scott is a board certified adult psychiatrist.  She attended Clemson University’s Honors College from 1991- 1995 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.  In June of 1993, she was accepted to medical school through the Early Assurance Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).  She was drawn to psychiatry, and in 1996, she worked as part of a psychiatry coalition team and assisted with a grant proposal for her mentor, Dr.  Eve Spratt.  Dr.  Scott graduated from medical school in 1999 and started her psychiatry resident at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.  She served as Chief Resident in Psychiatry during her fourth year of residency at Robert Wood Johnson.  She enjoys a team approach to mental health and sees therapy as an integral part of treatment.   Her practice is limited to adults (18 years and older) with a focus on women’s issues.  She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, and life transition issues.
